The aim of the course is to introduce a soils of Estonia, soils properties and its testings methods at laboratory, engineering geology researches for a construction site.

The course aim is to provide a necessary knowledge of engineering geology methodology, the geological processes, the generation of the soils and its properties.

After the course student will know soils, rocks and its features. Will be able to perform simple geological researches for a building site.
Student will be able to make a visual site investigation and can define a soils or rocks at laboratory.

Lectures, calculations, practical assignments, independent work.
