The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge for the basis of design of simpler structures and skills for the use of the respective standard documents.

Having passed the course the student:
1. is able to use normatives and standard documents;
2. knows the basis of structural design;
3. is able to calculate the actions on structures;
4. knows the demands of building design.
