The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge for the basis of design of simpler structures and skills for the use of the respective standard documents.

Having passed the course the student
• must be able to use normatives and standard documents;
• knows the basis of structural design;
• must be able to calculate the actions on structures;
• must know the demands of building design.

• Ehituskonstruktori käsiraamat (Masso, T. 2014).

The course ends with a written exam. The course will be considered to passed when the final grade will be "satisfactory" (2).
