To give students necessary knowledge about warehouse operations arrangement, workflow organizing principles, different packages and packing materials.

The student knows

• warehouse management principles and warehouse manager’s job tasks
• packing materials and types of packages

The student is able to
• compose and plan warehouse layout
• plan warehouse technologies, equipment and personnel by using initial information.

Lectures, interactive seminars.

Assessment is based on the following partial results:
• test in interactive e-learning environment – 50%
• solving of tasks at the examination – 20%
• initial task of warehouse planning – 30%

Minimum positive grade - "satisfying" (2).
