General aim
To give students necessary knowledge about warehouse operations arrangement, workflow organizing principles, different packages and packing materials.

Aim
The student knows • warehouse operations • storage methods and systems • ways and possibilities of monitoring and measuring warehouse operations • warehouse management principles and warehouse manager’s job tasks • packing materials and types of packages The student is able to • compose and plan warehouse layout • plan warehouse technologies, equipment and personnel by using initial information.

Evaluation methods
Assessment is based on the following partial results: • test in interactive e-learning environment – 50% • solving of tasks at the examination – 20% • initial task of warehouse planning – 30% Minimum positive grade - "satisfying" (2).
