General descriptionChecking and adjusting geodetic instruments - theodolites, levels. Founding a planimetric control. Tachometric survey of an area. As cameral works figuring out the coordinates and heights to the control points and compiling and formatting a plan of the area. Surface levelling and the construction of contours. A layout of the grade points with polar coordinates method. Layout of design heights.
General aimThe objective of the geodesy practice is to provide the skills of founding geodetic controls and tachometric survey as well as compiling an area plan.
AimHaving successfully passed the geodesy practice the students:
- can carry out basic geodetic works independently; - can use geodetic instruments (theodolite, level); - can compile an area plan. Form descriptionPractical training.
Evaluation methodsThe student has to take part in all training sessions. After the completion of all sessions, a practice report is compiled. The general geodesy practice is assessed on the basis of the practice report and individual questioning.
