Subject 'Computer Graphics I'Name in Estonian: Arvutigraafika I
General descriptionThe course teaches the general principles of computer drawing in AutoCad - menus, icons, the command line. The basic techniques of creating and changing simple objects. Drawing options - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Offset, Mirror, Chamfer, Fillet, Trim, Extend, Rotate, Arc, Move, Copy. Inserting and processing texts - Single line, Multiline. Inserting and processing dimention lines. Creating layers. Checking and changing object properties. Adding hatch.
General aimThe objective of the course is to provide the students basic knowledge in computer graphics through the vector graphics programme AutoCAD.
AimHaving passed the course the students:
- is able to work in the environment of AutoCAD; - is able to draw simple technical drawings with AutoCAD. Form descriptionSeminars, practical work, independent work.
Evaluation methodsFor the assessment the student must accomplish an independent lesson and pass a test in AutoCad
