General descriptionThe basics of remote sensing. Digital cartography hardware and software usage. The process of composing maps.
General aimThe aim of the course is to give an overview of digital maps, composing principles, testing methods and usage.
AimHaving passed the course successively the student:
- Is able to understand the process of composing maps; - Knows how data is being digitalized and used; - Is able to make the difference between raster end vector maps; - Knows the technology of satellite imaging; - Is able to use digital maps.
