General descriptionDevelopment of production. Production quality, production systems, standardization, human resources.
Different production types: massproduction, single production. Critical chain from order to shipment. Management, leadership, team, motivation, company structure. MRP, ERP, production planning, key variables in production, production schedule, production order, PDCA, efficiency, cost, cost efficiency. Order quantity and freaquency. Warehousing. TPS, TOC. General aimTo give overview of production development, methods, problems and value added processes. Also to give overview of production role in economy and to give basic knowledge about management.
AimStudent can understand the processes in production and has a basic knowledge of the management and leadership. Can use planning techniques and is able to lead a production unit.
Form descriptionLectures, seminars and individual work.
In the seminars students solve case studies, do simulations and present homework. Participation in the seminars and presenting independent work is compulsory and a prerequisite for prelim. LiteratureDigital conspect will be sent after each lecture.
