General description

Concept of the skills and professional development. Central to contemporary changes. Man, values of the profession. The introduction of changes in the organization. The development of organization´s management methods. Expertise, competence, professionalism. Modern trends in adult education. Changes in the paradigm of education: the labor market and tööharidus. Career planning. Selfreflection. Evaluation of training. Organization management culture. In the field of the central problem: the current status and future vision.

General aim

The aim of the course is to provide an overview of professional development and the development needs and opportunities in nowadays, to highlight the principles of professional development and the realization of the spesialization way to a variety of levels. Discipline allows you to create broad-based preparedness, and to ensure what competence you should have.

Aim

The student:

- has an overview of career planning and development management.
- is able to analyze the changes and quality.
- can create the conditions for the development of the management.
- prioritize essential resource for the company - staff competence.
- is able to note, senses, analyze, evaluate yourself as a subject in selfdevelopment.
- values and has a willingness to influence developments in the spezialisation field.

Form description

Teaching methods: discussion, lecture, seminar, group work, interviews, comparative analysis of the project, SWOT analysis, portfolio.
