General description

General set; divisions; sampling: arrangement of sampling, division of average value of random sampling; evaluation of general setŽs parameters, certainty interval, checking statistical hypotheses; comparing of two general sets; joined behavour of two attributes (correlation, analysis of regression); analysis of variance.

General aim

To provide deeper knowledge in statistical calculations and to develop practical skills related to corresponding themes.

Aim

Students after completing the course are able to describe attributes, make up frequency tables, diagrams; to classify statistical data; know statistical average values; are able to compare average values and other characteristics; know the interrelationships between attributes (correlation); can use statistical functions of Excel and MathCAD.
