The project of a public or industrial building is compiled. The architectural part of the project is solved in the stage of a draft. The structural part is solved in the amount that corresponds to a conceptual design, partly also a work project. Design process of a building and the choice of the final solution on the basis of a draft solution. Thermal technical calculations of peripheral structures. Calculation of loads. Choice of a structural solution. Determination of the foundation measurements. Technical drawings - location plan, plans of storeys and inserted ceilings, views, sections, skeleton schemes, structural units. Technological indicators. Explanatory letter.

The general objective is to provide the students practical skills for designing public and industrial buildings, calculating loads and making detail drawings.

In the course of making the project the student:
- learns the choice principles of prefabricated reinforced elements, production possibilities and their use.
