| The project of a public or industrial building is compiled. The architectural part of the project is solved in the stage of a draft. The structural part is solved in the amount that corresponds to a conceptual design, partly also a work project. Design process of a building and the choice of the final solution on the basis of a draft solution. Thermal technical calculations of peripheral structures. Calculation of loads. Choice of a structural solution. Determination of the foundation measurements. Technical drawings - location plan, plans of storeys and inserted ceilings, views, sections, skeleton schemes, structural units. Technological indicators. Explanatory letter. |

| The general objective is to provide the students practical skills for designing public and industrial buildings, calculating loads and making detail drawings. |
