Responsibilities of the management in an organisation, resource management, realisation of products, contract control, preservation of products, control of measuring and monitoring tools, control and test conditions, monitoring and measuring, auditing, control of non-compliant goods/services.
Environmental management. Role of team work in quality management. Quality management tools.

The objective of the course is to focus on the main requirements of the ISO-9001 quality management standard in order to understand and acquire organisation’s quality management system requirements when starting work. To acquire the general knowledge necessary for adopting a decision for creating a quality management system and improving it.

Having passed the course the student:
- knows the main requirements of the ISO-9001 quality management standard.
