| Main physical-mechanical properties of steel. Steel structures-related standard documents. Computation in bearing and service limit state. Plane steel structures. Joints. Steel building structures and bridges. |

| The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge for designing steel structures and skills for the use of respective standard documents. |

Having passed the course the students:
- must know how to use standard documents and dimension as well as design the more spread steel structures. |

| In lectures theoretical basics of design is covered and sample tasks are solved. Knowledge is tested with a written exam. |
