Main parameters of the design of rooms. Requirements for rooms. Timber-frame buildings. Timber panel buildings and platform constructions. Log houses. Saunas. Buildings of small blocks. Brick buildings. |

| The objective of the course is to teach the students the main basics of design and the criteria of compiling a design. |

Having passed the course the student must:
- know structures from different materials;
- be able to find the different indicators of buildings;
- know the requirements for rooms;
- be able to choose independently the structural scheme of a building with main structures. |
