Aims
Enable readiness to study at a higher education institution and acquire general basics for passing the curriculum.

- has basic knowledge of the subjects which the engineering training is based on;
- knows the basics of economic functions, regulations related to working life and working environment. |

Aims
To provide sector-specific professional knowledge required for work, to acquire general skills and foreign language skills.
Outcomes
Student
- knows the techniques of graphic representation;
- is able to calculate and manage production and commercial costs;
- is able to understand information in a foreign professional language;
- can explain problems related to his / her specialty in a foreign language both orally and in writing;
- is able to take part in professional and occupational discussions;

| Specialty Study. Technical Design of Apparel |
Aims
To provide the necessary competencies to work as a patternmaker.
Outcomes
Student
- can analyse and design different technological work operations;
- knows the classifications, design parameters and systems of clothes for industrial manufacture;
- can make industrial patterns, perform pattern grading and compile the necessary technical documentation;
- is familiar with special CAD/CAM systems; is able to use them in designing clothes, making technical documentation and in work standardization;

| Specialty Study. Technology and Product Development |
Aims
Provide the necessary competencies to work as a technologist/product developer.
Outcomes
Student
- can analyse and design different technological work operations;
- can select the proper process type and organise work of a production line;
- can apply theoretical knowledge in product manufacture;
- is able to design and sew clothes;
- is familiar with the formation and development of apparel and textile products;
- is familiar with special CAD/CAM systems;
- is familiar with forms of strategic planning of marketing, content of logistics, functions and relations with other production branches;
- is familiar with customs regulations, declaring and basics of consumer protection;
- knows the ergonomics of work environment and how to apply it in apparel and textile industry;

| Specialty Study. Resource Management |
Aims
Provide the necessary competencies to work as a resource manager in the clothing and textile sector.

- is familiar with the fields of trade and the basics of their operation;
- knows the buying and selling process;
- is able to make purchasing and sales decisions, manage expenses;
- has knowledge of economics;
- has knowledge of forms of entrepreneurship and business principles of an enterprise;

- knows and is able to execute purchase and sale documents and contracts;
