Objective:
to introduce the standpoints and attitudes of politics and science in the field of specialisation; to enable to improve special terminology in foreign language.

Learning outcomes:
student
- is mature to participate in the social life of a civic society;
- can assess the role of one’s own professional activity and its impacts on the community;
- has the necessary skills of communication, teamwork and communication technologies;
- is able to understand the information concerning the specialty in foreign language;
- is able to explain the problems in the field of specialty in foreign language.
Mathematics, Sciences and Graphics ECTS credits: 25

Objective:
to provide the basic knowledge of engineering subjects.

Learning outcomes:
student
- has acquired the knowledge in sciences, which form the basis of engineer’s training;
- has acquired the basis, necessary for continuing studies in the master programme.

Objective:
to enable to study the basics of economic operation and regulations of companies.

Learning outcomes:
student
- has knowledge of the basics of economics;
- is familiar with forms of entrepreneurship and principles of a company’s economic activity, strategic planning of marketing, content of logistics, functions and relations with other production branches;
- knows how to prepare, lead and evaluate projects.

Objective:
to form the basis for mastering specialty-related subjects.

Technology and Materials Studies ECTS credits: 44:

Objective:
to introduces the materials, equipment and technologies used and applied in sewing industry.

Learning outcomes:
student
- knows the equipment types used in sewing industry as well as the technological parameters of using them;
- knows the basic requirements of product manufacture;
- can select the proper process type and organise work of a production line;
- can analyse and design different technological work operations;
- can apply theoretical knowledge in product manufacture;
- is familiar with textile materials and their production technologies.
Design ECTS credits: 42:

Objective:
to introduce fashion trends, to provide theoretical and practical basis for designing clothes.

Learning outcomes:
student
- is familiar with fashion trends;
- can design clothes and collections;
- knows the classifications, design parameters and systems of clothes for industrial manufacture, can make industrial patterns, perform technical multiplication and compile the necessary technical documentation.
CAD/CAM ECTS credits: 20:

Objective:
to enable to use special computer programmes.

Learning outcomes:
student
- is familiar with special CAD/CAM syatems;
- is able to use them in designing clothes, making technical documentation and in work standardization.

to enable to prove one’s acquired professional knowledge and to apply it in solving a theoretical or practical specialty-related problem.
