General aim

Overview of system design principles and hardware in the loop simulations (Matlab, Simulink, Arduino etc.)

Aim

Student has knowledge of underlying principles of functional systems and their principles and algorithms including feedback methods (open loop, closed loop)

Differentiates physics phenomena (radio waves, ultrasound, infrared etc) and mathematical constraints (acceleration, time, distance of travel etc.) and units of measurement (second, millisecond, Hetz etc.) for describing function, construction and operating principle.

Excellent results of the course support continuation of master's degree studies in automotive field.

Form description

Theory in moodle, practical work in automotive electronics lab (d204) and driving tests.
