General descriptionPrinciples of automotive embedded systems. Digital control. Measuring inputs and driving outputs. Electronic components and data exchange protocols. Automotive data networks: protocols, copper and wireless networks, safety.
Reading and creating documentation for electrical connections and logical descriptions (UML) datasheets. Assembly and programming and testing of embedded systems on development boards (Arduino etc.). General aimProving modern day functionality in the scope of automotive electronic systems students study:
- function, - construction, - operating principles, - maintenance, - diagnostics and repair, - programming and testing. AimStudent knows typical electronic control module essentials and principles. Can determine properties of inputs and outputs and software for providing needed functionality.
Form descriptionPractice in automotive electronics lab (d204) and automotive lab (d201). Lectures in moodle.
