Implementing knowledge about robotic systems attained during the course “Basics of robotics”. A robot is constructed for competing at different events. Practical skills in product development, designing, and building in regards to robotic systems. Implementing manufacturing technologies, work safety.

To give students practical skills at designing robotic systems and constructing them. To bridge a connection between different engineering practises and robotics. To give students the experience of working in a team toward a common goal.

The student:
Knows the practical side of the product development process;
Can identify and solve problems that arise during the design and build phases of developing a device;
Can develop a robotic system based on a task;
Is able to analyze and improve the results of the design and build processes.
