General description

This is a traineeship that a student must complete in an administrative and development company. The appropriate position is the assistant to the manager or specialist in the field.

General aim

The aim of the internship is to:
• consolidating the theoretical knowledge acquired in the learning process;
• Enhancement of the student's practical skills and professional experience as a middle manager or his or her assistant;
• developing the student's technical and creative thinking and digital competence;
• developing teamwork, communication and project management skills;
• Gathering the necessary data and materials for the final thesis.

Aim

Upon successful completion of the internship, the student:
• Has an overview of the company's structure and work organization;
• Has an overview of the structure and quality system of the real estate environment;
• is able to operate at the level of a manager or a responsible specialist;
• Is familiar with industry standards and norms;
• Has the communication skills and IT technologies required for the job.

Form description

The subject is completed in the company. The student has two tutors: one is a corporate tutor and the other is a university tutor.

Evaluation methods

Assessment of the subject is estimated/not estimated. To qualify, students must:
• take a computational test at the end of the introductory lecture;
• Provide a written assessment of the company supervisor;
• Submit an e-mailed practice report to the Moodle environment or to the College's Traineeships Trainer.
The deadline for submission of the report is determined by the Higher Education Traineeships Trainer. Upon submission of a report in a timely manner and in accordance with the requirements, the higher education institution's supervisor shall provide feedback to the student and, if necessary, indicate any shortcomings in the report. In the case of an inadequate report, the student must remedy the deficiencies, after which the result is entered into the study information system.
