Subject 'Construction Practice'

The practice is conducted as a group work, in which a model of a bridge with certain parameters is designed, built and tested until failure.

The aim is to use the gained theoretical knowledge through practical work, use different tools, understand structural and technological processes in depth and give a possibility to immerse into applied research.

After completion of the practice the student owns practical experience in:
1. conducting a simple applied research task;
2. safety precautions in laboratory work;
3. the properties of materials, the choice and use of them;
4. the process of decisions and dependence on the result;
5. teamwork.
