Subject 'Surveying and Inventory Practice'Name in Estonian: Mõõdistamine ja inventariseerimispraktika
General descriptionThe practical training is preceded by an introductory lecture handling measuring instruments, measuring techniques, making sketches based on the results of measuring, the final forming and recordiing of the object. Presentation tour to choose the objects. The formation of teams in cases of more difficult objects. Survey of historical background. Individual consultation in every work stage. The documents of the objects being measured will be preserved at school for the purposes of future analysis and research.
General aimThe objective of the course is to measure up historical architectural details and to make corresponding technical drawings for acquiring the documentation about the objects being in danger of demolition or falling into ruins
AimAfter completing the practical training students have obtained the knowledge and skills to measure up existing buildings what is an essential basis for further occupation.
