General description

The course places a focus on the planning process as creation of environment. It discusses about a role of architecture in creation of artificial landscape and urban space. It also introduces how to plan transportation, which gives a base for urban planning.

General aim

Aim is to provide the students knowledge and skills for architectural design and planning.

Aim

student
- knows how to create architectural objects according to aesthetic and technical requirements;
- has the necessary knowledge of urban design and planning and essential skills for planning process;
- understands the social role of the profession and ethics of architect;
- is able to find a solution, depending on the location, to an architectural task;
- is able to analyse given tasks and create an aesthetic and functional spacial entity.
