General descriptionIntroduction of the drafting software AutoCAD - menus, icon bars, the command line. General principles of drawing - coordinate systems, units, scaling. Absolute, relative and polar coordinates. Drawing modes: ORTHO and OSNAP. Basic commands - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Offset, Mirror, Chamfer, Fillet, Trim, Extend, Rotate, Arc, Move, Copy. Inserting texts (Single line text, Multiline text). Adding dimension lines. Using Layers. Printing from model space.
General aimThe course aims to provide students with practical knowledge and skills to use the computer program AutoCAD daily engineering work.
AimHaving passed the course the student is capable of:
