Introduction of the drafting software AutoCAD - menus, icon bars, the command line. General principles of drawing - coordinate systems, units, scaling. Operating modes ORTHO and OSNAP. Drawing facilities - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Offset, Mirror, Chamfer, Fillet, Trim, Extend, Rotate, Arc, Move, Copy. Inserting texts (Single line text, Multiline text). Adding dimension lines. Using Layers. The surveyor's toolbar.

The course aims to introduce the drafting software AutoCad.

Having passed the course the student is capable of:
- using the basic tools in AutoCAD;
- inserting and editing texts;
- adding dimension lines;
- creating layers;
- printing in scale;
- using the basic commands surveyor's toolbar.

the course consists of classroom work and independent work.

The course ends with prelim.
