Standards and guidelines for structural design. Actions on structures. Design of structural systems. Spatial stability. Design project.

The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge of designing a structure of medium difficulty and compiling the design project.

Having passed the course the student;
1. is able to use normatives and standards related to structural design;
2. is able to calculate actions on structures of medium difficulty;
3. is capable of designing structures of medium difficulty and ensure structural stability;
4. is able to compile a design project.

Studies consist of theoretical and practical lectures and independent work.
