General aim

The goal of this course is to teach students principles of working of electronic devices and these application fields. Student can use the catalogues for finding out the parameters of electronic devices and the safe technique. Compile the electronic circuits to test the devices and to perform a needful measuring for adjusting the devices.

Aim

The student must know:

1) The principles of working, construction and fields of application of amplifiers, electronic switches, regulators, stabilizers, UPS, rectifiers;
2) Inverters and frequency converters.

The student can be able to:

1) Explain the working principles and the application fields of electronic devices;
2) Use the catalogues for finding out the parameters of electronic devices;
3) Compile the electronic circuits to test the electronic devices;
4) perform a needful measuring for adjusting the devices;
5) Use the corresponding study and reference books;
6) Organize working place and accurately do the practical works.

Form description

Lectures, tests and practical works.

Evaluation methods

The course ends with the final account. Positively executed tests and practical works are the prerequisites of the accounting. Tests consist written questions within the framework of the lecture material. The final grade will turn out from the average grades of tests and practical works.
