General descriptionOverview of AutoCAD user interface. The general principles of computer design. Principles of using the coordinate system. The creation and modification of objects (lines, circles, arcs). Simple design methods. Increasing digital accuracy by using various modes (ortho and osnap). Changing object properties (color, linetype, etc). Using and changing layers. The concept of creating and modifying polylines.
Creating Text. Different text types (dtext, mtext). Creating text styles and editing text. Drawing dimensions. Creating dimension styles and substyles.Using leaders. General aimThe aim of the course is to give the students the basic information, skills and concepts related to drafting and design in AutoCAD.
AimAfter completing the course the student:
1. knows the basics of digital drafting; 2. knows how to use the draw and modify commands and different modes; 3. is able to modify the properties of an object; 4. knows how to create and use text and dimension styles. Form descriptionLectures, practical classes, independent exercises.
