General description

General concepts of the least squares adjustment method. Parametric and correlative adjustment, application variants and accuracy evaluations. Parametric adjustment with additional conditions. The adjustment of levelling traverses and polygonometric traverses on the method of the least squares. Programmed adjustment of a geodetic control networks.

General aim

The objective of the course is to provide the students with knowledge about rigorous adjustment methods

Aim

Having successfully passed the course the student:
1. Is able to solve independently the tasks related to the adjustment of a geodetic control networks;
2. Is able to create simpler algorithms for the adjustment of geodetic control networks using least squares method.
