Subject 'Pre-diploma Practical Training'Name in Estonian: Diplomieelne praktika
General descriptionStudent works in a car enterprise as a maintenance consultant or as a workshop manager. Goal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills through working in an enterprise as a middle tier specialist and to collect materials for the final thesis. Practise is supervised by the employer and consulted by an academician from TTK UAS (in Moodle learning environment).
Required subjects: Introduction to Speciality, Car Handling Bases, Technical Requirements for Cars, Internal Combustion Engines, Transmission, Chassis and Body, Electrical Equipment of Cars, Car Maintenance Equipment, Car Repair, Entrepreneurship, Labour Law, Occupational Health and Safety General aimGoal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills for working in the real working environment, to affirm previously acquired knowledge. Prepare for writing final thesis.
AimThe student who has passed the course:
• is able to describe/explain working procedures and primary economic principles of the car enterprise; • is able to describe problems in working procedures of the enterprise; • is able to give advice for implementing new technology. Form descriptionPractical assignments in work environment
