General description

Review of psychology of traffic. A psychology role in traffic safety. Main problems of psychology of traffic. Risk on roads and its danger. Styles of driving and their difference. Influence of brand and car model on the choice of style of driving. Alcohol problems on the roads. Similar and professional drivers – similarities and distinctions. Gender distinctions. Problems of elderly drivers. Character and behavior on the road. Possibilities of intervention.

General aim

To open contents and an essence of a concept of traffic psychology. To give knowledge of mutual influence between the person and traffic. To develop the thinking promoting intervention and correction of traffic through influence on the person.

Aim

Student:
- knows history and conceptual fundamentals of psychology of traffic;
- is able to estimate the importance of a human factor on road safety;
- is able to analyse himself behavior;
- it is capable to interfere and offer primary technologies of traffic calming.

Form description

Lecture, seminar, individual and group tasks, the presentation, role-playing games, the panel-discussion, homeworks, a controlwork, test.
