Bridges in Estonia. Types of bridges. Movable bridges. Temporary bridges. Methods of erecting. Bridge structures. Evaluating the condition of bridges. Laws and standards.

General aim

The objective of the course is to provide the students knowledge for the design of simpler bridges and skills for the use of the respective standard documents.

Aim

Having passed the course the student must be able to use standard documents and design simpler bridge structures.
