General description

Types and characteristics of metal constructions, features of technology and accuracy requirements. Purpose, content and description of preproduction planning. Creation of technological subassemblys. Fabrication of parts, methods of their cutting-out and equipment used. Assemblage of units, final assembly of the construction and technological rigging employed. Features of technology and accuracy requirements. Finishing procedures and equipment.

General aim

The aim of the course is to give technological knowledge about types and characteristics of metal constructions, features of technology and accuracy requirements. Technological units. Fabrication of parts, methods of their cutting-out and equipment used. Assemblage of units, final assembly of the construction and technological rigging employed. Finishing procedures and equipment used threat. Technological documentation. Purpose and content of preproduction planning.

Aim

The student who has mastered this course knows the manufacturing processes of metal structures, machine tools. Is able to take part in preproduction planning
