General descriptionAnalysing of business and profession-related texts, reporting and writing summaries. Lexical and grammatical exercises, exercises on communication practice.
Topics: Future profession; Place of work and company presentation; Company operation fields; Oral communication in the working environment; Telephone communication. Independent work: making and delivering a presentation on one's speciality (Company presentation). General aimA business language course for the students of all the curricula. The aim of the course is to expand the vocabulary of business and professional Russian, and to practice oral communication in these fields.
AimAfter completing the course the student can explain the issues related to his/her speciality within the area of learned topics. The student is able to make a presentation of a company, report texts on business and his/her speciality. The student is familiar with business Russian vocabulary within the covered topics, and is able to communicate with clients orally.
Form descriptionPractical Russian language classes and work in the computer lab. Presentations. Independent work.
