General description

Basic phonetic topics - consonants and vowels, stressed/ unstressed syllable,
rules of reading, Russian intonation.
Conversation topics - introducing oneself, place of work, dates and weekdays. .

General aim

Basic language course for students of all curicula.
The aim of the course is to master the rules of phonetics and reading rules,
to provide basic lexical minimum and to develop the skills of speaking
in standard communication situations.

Student
1. Knows vocabulary and gramma on topics of the course.
2. Can ask simple questions on topics of the course and answer them.

Form description

Practical classes (group and pair work, role plays).
Independent work.
