Basic concepts of scientific research. Research ethics. Compilation of the research draft. The research process. Types of research. Different methods of data collection, their advantages and disadvantages. Qualitative and quantitative methods of research. Validity and reliability. Data processing. Ways of presenting data.

The aim is to give students the general knowledge of basic research methods, their applications and fundamentals of analysis.
