Surveying of buildings. Technologies of the surveying of buildings. The survey of the interiors of buildings with the laser range finder Leica Disto A2 and the total station Trimble S6. Processing and giving surveying results with the aid of the drawing programme AutoCad. The essence of laser scanning. Laser scanning technology. Accuracy of laser scanners. Collecting data with the laser scanner HDS3000. Data processing with the aid of the Leica Cyclone programme.

The objective of the course is to introduce different possibilities and technologies of the surveying of buildings.

Having passed the course successfully the student:
- can plan and carry out surveying of buildings in order to get plans, intersections, views and a 3D model;
- can design and survey the measurement traverses inside and outside of a building;
- commands the survey of interiors and exteriors of a building with a total station and laser scanner;
- can compile the plans, intersections and views and
- knows the creation principles of the 3D model of a building.
