General description

Student works in a car enterprise as a maintenance consultant or as a workshop manager. Goal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills through working in the enterprise as a middle tier specialist. Practise is supervised by the employer and consulted by an academician from TTK UAS (in Moodle learning environment).
Required subjects : Introduction to Speciality, Car Handling Bases, Technical Requirements for Cars, Internal Combustion Engines, Transmission, Chassis and Body, Electrical Equipment of Cars, Car Maintenance Equipment, Car Repair, Labour Law, Occupational Health and Safety

General aim

Goal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills for working in the real working environment, to affirm previously acquired knowledge.

Aim

The student who has passed the course:
• is able to describe working procedures of car enterprise;
• is able to plan and manage less demanding work processes.
• is able to use resource management software, special tools and equipment.

Form description

Practical assignments in work environment.

Literature

• Practice guidelines and legislation documents.

Evaluation methods

Student has worked in a car enterprise, has filled in practice diary regularly (once a week) in Moodle learning environment, has given in practice report formatted according to the TTK UAS formatting rules manual for written assignments and defended the report (in front of academician-supervisor and other students). Differentiated assessment by the supervisor.
