Subject 'Enterprise Practice'Name in Estonian: Ettevõttepraktika
General descriptionStudent works as a car mechanic in a car enterprise. Goal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills through working in the enterprise. Practise is supervised by a worker of the enterprise and consulted by an academician from TTK UAS (in Moodle learning environment).
Required subjects: Introduction to Speciality, Car Handling Bases, Technical Requirements for Cars, Internal Combustion Engines, Transmission, Chassis and Body, Electrical Equipment of Cars, Labour Law, Occupational Health and Safety General aimGoal of the practice is to develop working experience and skills for working in the real working environment, to affirm previously acquired knowledge.
AimThe student who has passed the course:
• is able to describe working procedures of car enterprise; • is able to conduct maintenance procedures according to manuals; • is able to use specific maintenance tools and equipment as a car mechanic. Form descriptionPractical assignments in work environment
Literature• TTK UAS formatting rules manual for written assignments.
• Practice guidelines and legislation documents. Evaluation methodsStudent has worked in a car enterprise, has filled in practice diary regularly (once a week) in Moodle learning environment, has given in practice report formatted according to the TTK UAS formatting rules manual for written assignments and defended the report (in front of academician-supervisor and other students). Differentiated assessment by the supervisor.
