General aim

To develop leadership skills, knowledge and attitudes of management, to implement primary and middle level managers in an organization.

Aim

 The learner knows the basic management definitions, fundamentals of management and leadership styles, different levels of management and leadership roles in an organization. Is familiar with the organizational structure (structure, culture, etc.) and features.
 The learner knows and is able to implement the management functions: planning, organizing, leading and checking.
 The learner knows the key motivation theories and is able to implement one of the theories to create a motivational package.
 The learner is able to analyze their activity, bring out factors that support and hinder their improvement.
 The learner knows and recognizes processes that take place in a group and is able to analyze them.
 The learner is able to articulate their views, both orally and in writing, and justifiably defend their positions.

Evaluation methods

Assessment methods and criteria:
 Porfolio
o Inclused all materials of seminars and independent work
o Analysis of group work
o Learning diary, includes a self-evaluation and notes of their learning process, factors that support and hinder their learning
o Analysis of participation in group work from a fellow student
o Is logically and clearly structured.
o Is submitted by the agreed deadline
o Seminar works:
 6 problem analysis and resolution
 Includes analysis of the essence of the problem, formulation of the problem and solution
 Acquired theoretical and practical models and methods cited in the initial task are used for analysis.
 Formatted according to TTK manual of writing.
 Used at least one mandatory and three latest literary sources. Work is linguistically correct.
 Presentation of the solution of the problem by the group, which is actively involved in all group members, fits within the given time limits, all essential is submitted and the performance is exciting.
