Aggregate demand and aggregate supply. National Accounts (GDP, GNP). Macroeconomic balance. State economic functions. Fiscal and monetary policy. State budget. Balance of payments, exchange rates. Economic Community. International trade. General aimThe substance of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of macro economics and business processes involved, the student would be able to critically evaluate the domestic economic and global economic processes (causes, consequences, relationships).
AimThe student:
- Is able to distinguish the phases of the business cycle; - Is able to assess the causes and processes of economic relationships and to assess the consequences; - Can find the key macroeconomic indicators (GDP, NCB, public expenditure, investments, etc.); - Is able to express their views on the different economic processes and events, with arguably justify their ideas and analyze; - Is familiar with the concepts of economic theory and calculation formulas.
