General aim

The aim of the course is in accordance with professional standards of railway engineering profession to ensure the safety rail and requirements.

Aim

The student after completing the course knows and is able to:
- characterize the risks and hazards of railway
- Use rules, standards and guidelines for predicting railway risks
- To describe the working principles of safety systems
- To plan measures to manage the risks
- Differentiate the work of the railway quality indicators
- To assess the impact of rail transport on the environment
