General description

Instruction of implementing traffic regulation and shunting, other rules that are connected with traffic regulation;
organisation of railway traffic on railway lines and at -stations;
systems and devices, taken into the use for traffic control;
work of a traffic regulator with different requirements and devices of the management system.

General aim

To provide knowledge about:
- traffic regulation instructions and rules on railway;
- technical means of traffic control and their work principles;
- measures, schemes and methods, used in the organisation of railway traffic on railway lines and at railway stations;
- operation of traffic regulation rules in different traffic situations.

Aim

Having passed the course the student can:
- use the provisions of railway traffic regulation instructions and rules;
- interpret and imply measures, schemes and methods, on the basis of which traffic is regulated on railway lines and at railway stations;
- use railway traffic control systems and devices;
- operate with traffic regulation rules in different traffic situations.

Form description

Lecture, practical works with the use of the Internet, independent work and written exam.
