1. Give students initial knowledge about business logistics goals and tasks, logistics areas and functions, also about logistics management.

3. Give students view of purchasing and selling logistics services, about outsourcing and outsourcing critical factors.

Student knows:
1. basic theory of logistics and supply chain management, also area-based specific
2. basic termins and concepts of logistics and supply chain management
3. goals, tasks, areas and functions of logistics
4. logistics management functions and management levels
5. supply chain flows, roles of supply chain members and main activities of supply chain management
6. reverse logistics goals, tasks, functions and main waste treatment technologies
