General description

Objects Moving, rotating, mirroring, scaling .. Model making 3-D modeling of: various shapes of the protrusions, indentations, and sliced pieces, threads and ribbed details. 3-D models of drawings (views, sections, drawing dimensioning, surface roughness). Models of sheet metal processing environment (bending, stretching and bead details). Issuing an environment of easy assembly, assembly relationships. Figure formalization. Details of the preparation of working drawings skills, both 2-D (Draft) as well as 3-D modeling.

General aim

Design environments, page formats, menus, commands and sketching in 2D environment. Scaling, rotating, mirroring and moving objects. Construtcting models in 3D environment, working in sheet metal environment.

Primary objective of the course is to provide knowledge about mechanical engineering drawings using a preparation of Solid Edge program.

Prerequisite subject: RKE013 Descriptive Geometry

Aim

After passing the course the student will:
- know the first formalization of drawings using Solid Edge computer graphics program and be able to print out the drawings.
- be able to prepare 2 pieces of design drawings for 2-D (Draft).
- is capable of producing a wide range of engineering components like 3-D modeling of models (including models of sheet metal components sheet metal processing environment), process them and produce working drawings of 3-D models.
- is able to prepare a variety of simple configurations of 3-D models with the necessary components to build links between the environment and the preparation of the design of these environments exploded view.

Form description

Evaluation methods

The evaluation method:

Evaluation criteria for assessing and teaching will be based on students participation in the process. Students receive feedback on the evaluation of the teacher's comments, which the student may, if necessary, his graphic works to identify, protect, and then formalized in the final result.

Evaluated will be:

Work formalizing correctness, adherence to standards, and their knowledge of the application of skill level, with the initial task of drawings, the accuracy of the contents, and the program's ability to use the computer, the development of an individual. Attitude towards learning, the level of commitment and dedication.

Evaluation of the premise:

Study attendance is compulsory for at least 80%, the direct guidance of the teacher made class work must be made by 80%. All homework, graphic work, and the control of classroom work must be submitted and rated 100% positive. Follow answering, and the opportunity for submissions is elective consultations.
