Calculating computional watercourse volume and the necessary opening of culverts and small bridges. The distribution of culverts by the watercourse way, used materials. Cross sections of culverts. Footings. Streambed fortifications. The technology of work accomplishment and work organising. Basic materials used in small bridge construction. Main requirements for ferroconcrete, metal and timber bridges. Work organising on building site and work accomplishment technology.

The aim of the course is to give students knowledge concerning the design of culverts and small bridges and organising and technology of construction. The course includes the culverts, the calculation of the necessary opening of small bridge, material selection and also construction technology.

After mastering the course student will know the principles of druthers of culverts and small bridges and construction technology.

During lectures the theoretical basis of designing are gained and sample tasks are made. Composing synopis. Test in written form.
