Learning the materials, system elements and operation principles of building water supply and sewerage system. The building water supply gives an overview of the buildings potable water system, fire protection systems and hot water supply system. The building sewerage system gives an overview of the buildings waste water plumbing system, stormwater drain system and local sewerage systems. Learning the design principles of building water supply and sewerage systems. Getting an overview of the common mistakes in system design.

The objective of the course is to provide knowledge of the construction and exploitation of building water supply and sewerage systems.

The student who has passed the course:
1. is able to follow and understand water and sewerage projects and knows the basics of design;
2. is able to evaluate and analyse the construction quality of the systems and can detect deviations from valid requirements.
