Subject 'HVAC Systems I and Energy Efficiency'

Learning the types of a heating, ventilation system and energy efficiency. Among it getting introduced with the materials, principles of construction and work of the systems as well as with building these systems and their construction technology.

The objective of the course is to provide knowledge about economical building and exploitation of heating and ventilation systems and the ability to choose systems based on energy efficiency calculations.

The student who has passed the course:
1. knows the types of heating and ventilation systems, materials, system components and their construction technology;
2. is able to evaluate the design of a heating and ventilation system and the construction quality;
3. can observe on the object the construction technology of the given systems and organize the work in accordance with a time schedule;
4. is familiar with the calculations of energy efficiency of buildings.
